Rea grew up in Canalave City, southern sector with her mother. Her siblings left to become Pokemon trainers at a young age while she was moreso on the acadmeic track. She finished her education by 12, but just couldn't find the strength to meet the expectation of what a trainer is entailed, making her prefer to stay in the confines of her room with her Pachirisu.

Overtime, Rea's mental health degraded due to social isolation and the nature of her Nuzlocke Curse, thus merely interacting with Pokemon and having a notable fear of humans. She had notable friendships with the Pokemon within their city, and was known as the kid who'd conversate with them while glaring at everyone else. Around 17, her mother allowed her to leave the home and go off on her own past Canalave City outskirts. From here, Rea traveled a bit across the region. Due to her accolades, she was invited to visit other regions on research tasks and as part of NORA operations. She does these sparingly due to her anxiety. These trips allowed her to meet some of her teammates though, which she is grateful for and what pushes her to continue.

Rea can speak to Pokemon. She has been able to communicate with them since childhood since her fateful encounter with Kurai. They commuciate with her telepathically, so she is often anxious in public as she openly has conversation with them. Due to this, she will simply gesture to them so she doesn't feel so awkward.

Rea enjoys recreational Pokemon activity over battling. She will only battle when neccessary / protection.
