Smeeps is one of the two primary Pokesonas we have to represents ourselves - Smeeps is us, untramuatized.

description

Smeeps is a Smeargle that does not have a beret as it's canon design does. It resembles a toony dog more than a Smeargle. Smeeps bares a head of fluffy curls which tends to be hidden under a beanie of choice. It has a brown scarf wrapped around its neck which can't be removed (it is too precious). It has a red drippy pawprint on its back, and two brown bands on both its arms and legs. Smeep is neither a girl or boy, its just Smeeps. Smeeps is neutered.

Smeeps wears undergartments and accessories - never clothes. It loves socks and arm/leg warmers, doodads to add to its hair and tail and jewerly that jingles. It has an affinity for underwear alongside its sock obsession. It can be a bit obsessive about these clothing items, so sometimes they tend to be a bit scruffed up, dirty and worn out. It doesn't mind it much.

personality

Smeeps is incredibly playful and silly. It enjoys the simple things in life, finding everything in life to be an adventure full of stuff to giggle about. Smeeps is good at heart, but is a bit of a troublemaker. To cause ruckus is very fun for it, especially when it makes everyone yell its name and chase it. Smeeps doesn't mean harm when its goofin' off. It may be a bit airheaded or slow to notice when folks are mad, it'll do its best to make it better and put a smile on your face.

history

Smeeps original design was more akin to another pokesona, Caly. This was quickly changed for a more happy-go-lucky, 90s toon inspired look once Smeeps became an active part of headspace.

Smeeps is a foil to Kyri. Smeeps is Smeeps while Kyri is everything and nothing at once. The connection we crafted between these two became most solidifed during 2025 while playing Chicory: A Colorful Tale and realizing the similarities that Smeeps and Kyri share with Pizza and Chicory.

In the story about how Smeeps and Kyri meets, it is centered around Kyri helping Smeeps find a sock it lost and Kyri struggling to grapple with watching Smeep not mask at all due to their own insecurity.

Smeeps "mother" is Mama Mimi. The story is that Mama Mimi found Smeeps egg and just took care of it from there on. Mama Mimi loves Smeeps a lot and does her best to make sure Smeeps stays good at heart.
