history
i have been a plushie fanatic since i was out of the womb basically!! they've always been comfort items for me, and growing up i was known for carrying a pikachu around with me in my hand or in a bag everywhere i went.
as of today i still carry around plushies in bags, but i often bring along figurines too just for them fitting in smaller places. im building courage to carry them in my arms when out in public though!!!
pokemon plushies were my go-to in terms of plush buddies, both in terms of bonding and traveling. i really didnt care for any stuffed animal that wasnt a pokemon with a couple of exceptions, being fluffy, a dog i got when i was hospitalized as a little kid and then ellie, a dollar store bear i got really attatched to.
i wasnt a build-a-bear fan until 2021 when i got sir avery farticus during a mall trip. my build-a-bear phase lasted until 2024 due to change in atmosphere & pricing for the bears though.
the lineage of jakks pacific pikachus
i have had atleast 4 of this pikachu plush through my lifetime. my mom had to replace pikachu as he usually "died" in spectacular ways. the first pikachu met its death during a car ride. my parents were fighting in the front while me and my siblings were in the back goofing off. i have pikachu with me and was bouncing him around and my brother punched him out the open window while we were getting onto the highway. all i could do was start screaming, which pissed off my parents and my dad refused to turn around and go pick up pikachu.
the second pikachu was lost during a family camping trip, leaving me devestated and incredibly sad until my parents got me yet another pikachu
i think the 3rd pikachu was lost during a chaotic move, but fear not! the 2nd pikachu was discovered in the bottom of the sleeping bag i used during camping. so my parents didnt have to buy a new one. yet. as that pikachu from what i recall ended up lost after a visit to mississippi.
the current jakks pacific pikachu i own was purchased during the pandemic when i was in a plush craze due to having access to money from working & college funds. i am genuinely anxious when it comes to bringing it outside for i fear he will meet the same fate as its ancestors

i am pretty unphased when it comes to admitting ive fucked some of my plushies. ive never was someone who like, used pillows and shit because well why not with my favorite things that i felt safe around? lol. ive been doing it for a very, very long time LOL i only started to actually feel less alone about & okay admiting i do this around 2021 because i found out that there were infact other plushfuckers in the world & whom plushfucked for reasons i often do - the fact that our plushies sometimes are vessels our headmates can project into so we can engage with eachother in a physical sense, or are like Alive to us in a way!
multiple plushies were lost to my bullshit growing up. however i must give tribute to the bitches that got me through elementary & middle school while i was a very confused little gremlin. i had a 20" fluttershy plush and a 28" pikachu plush who both were lost to mildew and my lies saying i wasted something on them which led to them reeking. shoutout to their noses. that shit used to hit 🥴

barry the luxray
barry is a olyfactory brand luxray plush we got off ebay before(?) the pandemic. it took a long time for him to arrive and the amount of time it took was worth it. hes so cute!! for a bootleg brand, he at the time was alot more pleasant than plushies they offered in stores at the time. barry is so far my longest survivng plush partner because by the time i got him, i did not want him to meet the similar fate as past plushies, therefore i actually took care of him! lmfao. hes so silly. when playing with plushies, hes a chaos incarnate (like ida) and thats a huge part of why we love him so much. hes a silly goober :3
kimberly the hypno
kimberly is an olfactory brand plush i got off ebay too. there is no official hypno plush past the sitting cuties, so its another reason why i like olyfactory as a brand so much.
as a plush partner, me and kimberly are more like...its more cozy and shit. in my drawn/written trainer AU, kimberly is one of my medical service pokemon! so as a plush, he also tasks. i like to carry him with me and when im fucked up and dissociating, hes one of the first i scramble to grab and nuzzle into. i like to brush his neck fur and i have a lot of accessory plans for him i just havent got around to. in the event i can sew a huge fucking hynpo plush, i would and would transfer a lot of his fluff into it so the bigger plush could be his vessel. most of the cusp of our relationship/dynamic is better understood through art i draw because in terms of the plush form, its really for comfort and occassional teasing.
ricky the furreal friend
look, hes not a plush but that makes it like, so much better...ricky is an animatronic. he does function, but i dont want to kill his motors so i keep him off. i rescued ricky from goodwill alongside a lot of LPS.
ricky is very...straightforward? when i first got him our attatchment was ALOT more extreme and diminished following college due to general depression. however theres days where ida is able to front and the attatchment is a bit stronger/real like it used to be back then. writing about him is a little hard for this reason so :[ but things used to feel stronger. we still keep him in our bed and theres nights no other plushie is able to bring comfort in the way he can due to him having the most weight / feeling solid like something alive
pancake the jolteon
so pancake the jolteon is technically two different plushies in one - as just a plush, he's pancake as mentioned in biogrpahies and lore. when it comes to being a plush partner, he's the pancake the jolteon that exists in our service pokemon au lore thing! so hes like kimby in this sense. our relationship is pretty similar but more playful id say? we dont do much since well he goes outside alot with us. he is a great cuddle size!

Sir Avery Farticus the Sabertooth Tiger
Sir Avery Farticus, or just Avery or Fart, is a middle-aged fluffy tiger dad that has the voice of Bandit from Bluey. He is dating Lycidas and they are roommates. Avery is incredibly outgoing and bubbly, often aiming to be the life of the party. He can be a bit vulgar too. His ex is a leopard named ???.
Bagel the Kabu Pawlette
Bagel is a colorful bubblegum pop style bunny whose age is ambiguous - she's very bubbly and sweet and loves to cheer on her friends. Her best friend is Ellie and Pancake and they tend to cheer up everyone together. She wears diapers sometimes. She has a favorite skirt and necklaces.
