MY AMAZING FAN AU PARACOSM CIRCA 2016 WHICH STARTED EEEEVERYTHING........This is The Blueprint. Inner machanations of my Mind for (motions to everything else). amazing little world that budded into 30000 different worlds lol. but yeah this is the core headworld of mine inspired by my first every pokemon nuzlocke journey
Nuzlock'd follows a cast of misfits who have the Nuzlocke Curse through their youth to young adulthood. It's slice of life heavy and best compared to series such as Ojamajo Doremi, Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and so on (aka all my fav shows) and has themeatic beats similar to that of NieR. There's a lot of sources of inspiration for how I currently write this series! A significant amount of alters faceclaimed characters from this series and is why it's yet to fizzle out of importance and essentially keeps repeating into new series lol.
I started Pearlocke after feeling inspired by all the comics I would read on DeviantART, particularly motivated after reading Ky-Nim's Tales of Sinnoh Nuzlocke Comic and Lizdraw's Eliza's Diamond Nuzlocke Comic because she had a Pachirisu.
On the first runs of the comic, it was just archiving what my journey was - no extra plot or character development. But as I continued playing and daydreamed, it blew up into its own thing where Rea and Barry had childhood lore and shit, death and murder scenes and more. A lot of the development came from my journey and losing Pokemon at a rapid pace - there was no way making a comic about it could stay lighthearted. Rea was experiencing the horrors, and I ran with this.
I finished my journey on Pokemon Pearl in late 2016, and these pictures of my team were captured January 30th 2017.
The only survivors of Cynthia's battle were Riley, Ryuko, Tree and Ooo.
Did I faithfully follow the Nuzlocke Challenge rules during my playthrough in 2016? I don't think I did, honestly, as I was absolute dogshit at battling. I'm pretty sure I gave myself two chances with my starter and I still lost Saru. So, this challenge may have been my first completed one, not perfect but it created something awesome.
What makes this fanfic based paracosm so important to me is the way I worldbuilded based upon the pre-existing pokemon lore and the concept of the Nuzlocke Challenge. It got out of hand in a very fun way which I love alot about this series. It got extremely out of hand over the years of writing and maturing through puberty and mental illness. It's bizarre and i think its why it's so fun because I turned not much into this really convoluted orgin story of pokemon.
The Nuzlocke Curse has its true definition and the one that Arceus fed to humanity after Risha's death.
Prior to the events of Nuzlockd'd Galactic Arc, the Nuzlocke Curse was primarily interperted as a "diease" which humans can be inflicted with that cause any pokemon within their posession to die rather than faint. Those who are "nuzlock'd" are looked down on within society as it is established that the life of pokemon superceedes the life of a human.
It was interperted as a diease due to the way humans tend to find themselves with it.
In reality, the Nuzlocke Curse something leftover from Risha that breaks Arceus's chain of protection placed upon Pokemon, allowing Pokemon to return back to being as mortal as humans are.
So in my series, humans and Pokemon are not of the same orgins but they are equal in sentience and ability to live in a world. Both human and pokemon are able to hunt, kill, grieve, hold ceremonies, love, hate, have cultures and practice religion and everything else intelligent animals can do in our world within their means. It's just a bit weird because of how Arceus influenced the organization of the two species following Risha's death.
This is why human can withstand the attacks of Pokemon (such as getting electrocuted or burned) and not disintergrate or be horrifically maimed - humans are naturally as sturdy as Pokemon. When Arceus's chain of protection on Pokemon is broken, the artifical defense keeping Pokemon from dying from exertion and battle fades.
There was a class of humanity that was at a higher level of power than legendary pokemon - they were considered gods and goddesses. However, they are long gone and were all converted into Pokemon.
I have to type this up in a very fancy way and I don't have it in me yet so eventually this hub will get updated with the indepth of my worldbuilding.
Aleph is Arceus, father of Pokemon. Risha is Ultra Necrozma (UN), mother of Humanity.
Until I write this in the fancy way, you can envision them as a duo of creators and Earth was their collaboration project. Arceus hatched from the egg that was warmed by Risha's body and immediately was like "i gotta create something". Arceus's created Earth and Pokemon and this project sucked shit and kept failing until Risha noticed him struggling and was like "lemme help u out" and made humans to accompany Pokemon on Earth. Then it worked out well and Arceus was like "Damn my shits awesome" and then made out and had babies together as two awesome creators in the universe. And then eventually Arceus gets insecure and realizes his creations can only survive when accompanied by Risha's and seeing how heavily influenced his were, he got pissed off and tried rewriting Risha's parts and then fought about it until Arceus killed Risha in a rage. And because he was so pissed off and embarrassed, he tortured the kids he had with Risha and forced them to be Pokemon instead of continue to have their humanity because Arceuss hated it and was insulted by it.
When Arceus killed Risha, all the light in the universe went out with Risha, which forced Arceus to employ his creations to make up for it. He made all of the gods and goddesses turn into Pokemon and fufill roles to keep the world in order. And in rage, he banished Adaxis and Kurai to eternal torture - Adaxis was banished to the Distortion World which was a shitty failed project of Arcesus's, while Kurai was banished to be reincarnated infinitely in humans who would undergo extreme torture, neglect and tramua and typically die by suicide just for the cycle to repeat.
In order from eldest to youngest
why are they homestuck style? dont worry about it. but this is what their god form designs are like
The death of Risha was blamed on Kurai for "corrupting" Adaxis and his siblings with belief that humans were superior. Kurai is labeled the chaos incarnate and Adaxis was too tainted by humanity to be on Earth anymore. Emuris is their Saivor because she loved Pokemon. The death of Risha had nothing to do with the kids but because of Arceus and Risha bickering it started influencing how they treated one another and still treat eachother long after her death and them being Pokemon now. Fear and blame baby!
