the beginning

The first time I learned about Pachirisu was when I was at my grandma's house and scrolling through Comcast's OnDemand feature. Using OnDemand to watch cartoons was my ritual at this point as Pokémon was never live when we'd stay over. So on that blue screen with rounded bubbles listing titles for the available Pokemon episodes, DP019 - Twice Smitten, Once Shy was one of the only selectable ones. I sat down with toasted chocolate waffles and had my brain chemistry changed.

Pachirisu was so fucking silly! What a little goof making a mess out of everything. I loved the mischief Pachirisu brought to the team and loved seeing Dawn overcome her self doubt to befriend Pachirisu and join forces at the end. Pachirisu was very different from the tough and proud Piplup and gentle but strong Buneary Dawn had on her team - Pachirisu seemed to be a goober, and dare I say cuter at that!

From this episode, I got serious about watching the Pokemon anime so I could see more Pachirisu. It wasn't long before I found myself fighting my brother to have time to use my grandma's desktop to watch youtube videos and play dress-up games featuring Pachirisu and other Pikaclones. One of the first Pachirisu AMVs I remember watching (and replaying religiously) was Pachirisu~ na-na-na-na-na. Absolutely mindshattering for my goopy brain. Searching "pachirisu na na na" on Youtube became ritualistic for anytime I had access to the internet as I didn't have a Youtube account until I was like 13 or so. Watching AMVs was actually a huge motivator for me to make OCs on Flipnote Hatena or on my computer because I'd watch videos such as Pachirisu and Emolga Amv- Whip My Tail or The Shadow Dancer series by Angel Love. The world of using pngs as an equivalent to play with toys was fantastic in the 201Xs. I did the same thing which you can watch here.

Since I've learned of Pachirisu's existence, I've been creating Pachirisu OCs, all of whomst have stuck around with me to today! Here will be every single one of my funny squirrel OCs, with a hall of fame for certain Pachis! This is to be updated as I find old OCs and make new ones, btw!]

Nibbles

My first proper Pachirisu OC was a Pachirisu named Nibbles.

I created Nibbles as my mascot/sona during my early days on Flipnote Hatena. Because I was a fetus at the time, Nibbles is as Pachirisu as you can get - it's just a Pachirisu with a necktie and very saturated colors thanks to Flipnote Studio's color limitation. Her first ever appearance can be watched on the sudomemo archive. Just warning for flashing of black and white. Also, yes, that my amazing singing voice at six years old. God bless the speed up function.

Nibbles also was a star in a series I made at the time apparently? Without this...series...there wouldn't be [Thunder](file:///C:/Users/pachi/Dropbox/helianthus-fieldsv7/subpages/pachiaday.html#thunder) though.

But yeah. Nibbles in term of Pachis is quite literally just the blueprint. She rose so the others could fly. I don't really retain her as a character because she's just an explorer Pachirisu, but who knows! Maybe she'll return?

Thunder

Thunder, one of my oldest girls. [She's actual part of the Pachla lore, too.](file:///ocrepository/special/pachla) [Skatchirisu](file:///ocrepository/lore/skatchirisu) is my proposed Pachirisu evolution I wrote on when I was a kiddo! Nibbles was the one who would "evolve" into her, haha! Thunder's lore is that she was a failed experiment which was then rejected by her biological parents, leaving her in the care of Pachieon. Pachieon raised her like a daughter and helped her appreciate herself and be prideful despite being neglected and ostracized for her unnatural appearance.

Thunder is an Electric Dark type with a Ice third typing. She has a pair of black wings and glowy blue eyes. Her electricity is black and glows blue. The thundercloud on her tummy is simply a marking, and so is the thunderbolts on her ears! When most powered up, her electricity can freeze someone. She thrives best in the coldest nights of winter with storms brewing. Her signature move is Thunder Snow, which has a base power of 90 and is boosted in power if used at night. A side effect from the move is being frozen.

Pachieon

Pachieon is a Shiny Pachirisu/Umbreon hybrid that absorbed the soul of an Umbreon and shares her body with him. She is Thunder's mother and a mad scientist that is responsible for the wacky kinky traits of her friends.

Back during her creation, I asked people who would be a good partner to Pachirisu and Daomon the Umbreon was the winner. I immediately killed him, and Pachi let his soul into her body. I don't think I can consider this plurality as I wrote this as a child, but to be fair Pachieon was not the first to have weird body sharing sort of traits. Before this, there was Shiny Eeveerisu. I still use Eeveerisu today but without the shininess that comes from a Pachirisu. It's just cool to see how this fusion predates Pacheion.

Pachieon was a sona for a while. She was usually just a side Pachi to other Pachi OCs until like 2019/2020 when I delved into the kinkier things and Pachieon's mad scientist nature got to shine.

Pachi the Rotom

Pachi has some fun lore, LOL! So, where do we even start with her....

Pachi began as a Shiny Pachirisu who was best friends with a Haunter named Hector. They were my two main characters back during my Flipnote Days. She was basically a Pokesona. So, once Hatena died and stuff, my lore was that everyone died and reincarnated into the DeviantART era as I grew up.

In this process, Hector became a Gengar but Pachi did not return as expected. She lost her memory, and was now a Rotom. Dysphoric in this ghostly form, Pachi found a Pachirisu plush and put some electrical components in it and possessed it to have her "proper form" again. She doesn't have any memories of her past other than being a Pachirisu just feels right.

Pachi is pretty snooty and snappy. She's pretty annoyed and disgruntled. She's shy around most other Pachi because she feels like a fraud. Her best friends are Keeki the Litten and Hector the Gengar.

Elder Pachi

Elder Pachi is just my Pachirisu plush, as an OC!

Elder P has a husband, Vio the Umbreon, and a son, Tini the Victini. She is the ruler of all my plushies and is very cutthroat and no bullshit. She's seen some SHIT, been lost, never died. She's physically old as fuck (has been at my side since I was 6 years old), so it's why I immortalize her as a character so even when her physical plush form degrades, she's always with me! In her physical form, she's very alive in a way I don't know how to describe, but we are like Ash and Pikachu...lol.

In the PokePlushToy unvierse, everyone goes to her for advice or when there is disaster and whatnot. She's tough, but has a soft side. In any AUs I insert in, she's typically the Guildmaster.

Flufleaf

Flufleaf is a Grass/Electric esque Fakemon I made as a kiddo called a Migimonsta. Flufleaf's whole gimmick is that when it blushes, it functions as Attract does in Pokemon. She's a lil freak LOL!

Flufleaf was owned by Meleania, the young girl that chose her as her starter. I never did more with Flufleaf past this one episode I wrote, but I kept her alive through redrawing her and whatnot.

She's just a little dude that was inspired by Pachirisu and Pokemon! Kinda a mix of Pachirisu, Mincino and Shaymin now that I think about it. Maybe that was the intent of little me? I'll soon transcibe the story she featured in.

Nachirisu

Nachy the Nachirisu was a Fakemon kind of critter I made as a kid. Nachy was very destructive and boisterous for a Pachi-Fakemon, similar to how I'd write Thunder. She had Eletric and Ice powers! In her story, she was my Fantasy and got depressed after losing a fight, which led to her being convinced by some Jessie-look-alike to join forces to become stronger. Hehe, cute stuff I wrote as a kid. Nachy hasn't been touched or developed since.

Pachla

I won't go into toooo much detail here, because [Pachla has an ENTIRE shrine of it's own](file:///ocrepository/special/pachla)! Well, the current Pachla for that matter, but still, same info. Pachla spawned from Nibbles, Thunder and co. before becoming its own being! Pachla is a Pachirisu because the other Pachirisu claim her as one :3 Once a Pachi, always a Pachi!
