Younger adopted sister to Brendan Barrington. Daughter of Veronica Berlitz and Karter Berlitz.

Astria is a 5'1" Pitbull x Cocker Spaniel. She has a caramel coat and wheat underbelly. Her ear and right paws are a darker chocolate color. She has brown eyes and usually looks a bit sleepy. She has a large snout and jowls that hang. She has curly hair but her overall coat is smooth. Her body type is hourglass-esque. She was born December 12, 2001.

Astria is the only biological daughter of Veronica and Karter Berlitz. Brendan is technically her adoptive brother but they avoid bringing that up. Astria and Brendan moved to River in 2019 to escape Veronica and so she could attend college.

personality

Astria is pretty reserved and disengaged. She speaks if spoken to, and with this, she can be pretty blunt. She isn't very personable or expressive as she was as a pup, but it shouldn't be assumed she's upset, she's usually feeling just fine and to emote seems unnecessary. She does have a sense of humor and can be silly in situations you'd expect otherwise, however it comes and goes and depends on who she's with. She seems to lighten up and seem interested in things if you bring up Pokemon, something cute or grabbing a burger, otherwise she's just gonna observe and probably fall asleep.

Astria was very obedient as a pup, which was a blessing to the stretched-thin Veronica and Karter Berlitz. However this didn't stop them from causing Astria come to process she was a bad puppy that needed to act better all the time. Her parents divorced when she was five due to their impulsivity and incompatibility - both being 20 somethings with a lot of shit wrong with them and never given signs that it could be different. Astria lived with her mom and would go with Karter for weekends up until he noped out of wanting to. Most of visitation with Karter was spent at Kiki's anyways, which is where she would begin her friendship with Lucas. Veronica spent most of her time trying to keep bills paid and would lash out at Ree as she'd buckle under the stress of raising her pup alone.

Barry ♥♥♥♥♡ (Adoptive Brother) "He's so stupid. Dumb fuck."
Astria loves Barry. He is one of her best friends for life. She wishes he wasn't a prick most of the time though. They were a lot closer as kids, essentially inseperable, but cracks began to show more and more as Barry was able to detatch from Rain easier than she could by the time highschool rolled around. They've had many ups and downs but seem to still come back to one another after all is said and done.

Lucas ♥♥♥♥♡
"That's my best friend!"
Lucas is Astria's other best friend for life. She loves Lucas a lot and gets excited when they hang out. Astria always looked up to Lucas as the all-knowing best friend and secretly wanted to be as cool as him. She's very happy they're still close as adults as she's always been a bit behind Lucas in terms of social milestones. Astria is often his voice of reason while Lucas is her cheerleader and will stand up for her when she's afraid to. They keep one another grounded and are there for eachother even at their worst.

Astria thinks Al is very cool. At first she didn't like him much because she met him through Barry and she only knew they smoked weed together and he was likely why Bee had become such a prick. After getting to know him especially through Lucas, she grew to like him a lot since he's nothing like Barry. She feels shy around him and appreciates when he checks on her when they're hanging out as a group. She finds it cool he's also kind of shy and reserved the way she is. She thinks he's a great person for Lucas to have and is thankful for when he will talk to Barry to reason with him. They hang out 1:1 sometimes and when they do, she finds herself feeling safe regressing and not masking in his presence. He was the first one to ever diaper her up and change her during their ABDL shenanigans.

Astria knew Ida when they were younger through Lucas's family. She was very shy and observed him from the distance in awe since he liked Pokemon the way she liked Pokemon. Lucas did tell her about what was going on between the him and Ida and was begged to keep the secret. Ida was never properly mean to her and moreso would tease her. They'd play Pokemon together sometimes if Ida felt he was bored enough. Astria did develop a negative view of Ida following him vanishing, concerned Lucas would be hurt again by him, and while this lasted even after Lucas and Ida reunited, it just got mixed back in with that old curiosity she felt from childhood. Them developing a friendship as adults wasn't very shocking to Lucas, which is why he gave Astria the thumbs up for them dating.

Lyra ♥♥♥♡♡
"Ahhh....!"
Astria has a lot of funny feelings about Lyra. She was her first ever best friend (outside of Lucas) in kindergarten. Astria became afraid of Lyra before she moved away due to her father's comments when they had a sleepover for the first time. They met again once they were in college and slowly got closer. She's very shy around Lyra even as adults and realized she had a crush on her, which went haywire when Lyra found out about her liking ABDL and offering to be her CG. Astria is still learning to trust her but feels very embarrassed most of the time about it.

Amy ♥♥♥♡♡

Astria's feeling about Amy are complicated because Astria looks at Amy and envies her ability to be spunky and fun to be around. Despite this, they're on good terms. Amy isn't bothered by Astria being logged out of most conversations and still offers to take her along when she hangs out with Lucas and Al.

Veronica (Rain) ♥♥♡♡♡

Astria's feelings about her mom are a mess. She really tries not to think about it now that she doesn't live at home. As much as she wants to go no-contact, she's too anxious about her mom still being sickly to cut her off. She avoid spending time with her mom as much as possible given the second she gets around her, she feels all her progress on self-confidence goes out the door since her mom yaps up a storm about her "acting too disabled". She can't muster strength to say she hates her mom because the second she sees her mom stressed out, Astria is the first to be at her side to help and comfort her. It drives Astria mad.
